Our Founder
Ms. Smita Das is Post Graduate in Microbiology from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar with international research exposure from University of Life Sciences (UMB) As, Norway and has an enriching experience of more than 16 years in the food and beverages industry, with special focus on food processing, innovative product development, forward & backward linkages, branding, marketing and communication. She has worked with reputed brands like Hindustan Coca Cola, Om oil and flour mills ltd (Ruchi), Prime Agro food processing pvt ltd, at senior techno-managerial positions and has been instrumental not only for introducing new and innovative products in the array of offerings but also has successfully created newer markets by identification of untapped potential.
Ms. Das was awarded with “MAATRITVA” in the year 2018 for her achievement in conceptualization, strategic planning and development of new products. Ms. Das has been a pioneer in the field of food processing, brand creation and brand enhancement. She started her own enterprise under the name of “Shresth Industries” in 2019.
Ms. Smita Das, proprietor of Shresth Industries has been also conferred with FICCI FLO Odisha Women’s Award in start-up segment. The award was presented in an event with the Chief Guest being Odisha CM Sj. Naveen Pattnaik and sharing the stage space along with National President of FICCI FLO Ms. Jhanabi Phookan & State President of FICCI FLO Ms. Dharitri Pattnaik.
